FAQ’s

Q?

How long does it take to setup and take down a castle?

A.

It will take around 20 – 30 minutes to setup and take down the castle each time. The castle will be setup before the time you have requested and taken down after.

Q?

What type of terrain is required to set up a castle and how much room is required?

A.

A flat set up area is required, although a slight slope may be acceptable. Relevant castle dimensions are included on the price list page for each castle, however a clear 0.5 metre path needs to be maintained around the perimeter of any castle. The ground can be grassed, concrete, paved or asphalt, but if not grassed must be specified when booking, as standard pegging cannot be used and additional charges for sandbags will be applicable. The Surf N Slide Double Track Waterslide and Obstacle Courses cannot be set up on dirt (grass is preferred).

Q?

What if there are steps or obstacles to get to the setup area?

A.

Castles can weigh up to 200kgs, so if there are steps, doorways or obstacles of any kind, this needs to be advised upon booking, as due to their weight and size, castles can be difficult to manoeuvre and may need additional manpower or equipment to allow for installation.

Q?

Q?

Is supervision required for the castle?

A.

Yes the castles must be supervised by a responsible adult over the age of 18 at all times. We will provide training after we have setup the castle. Alternatively you may like to hire one of our qualified and fully trained attendants to supervise your castle hire on the day. Unfortunately due to changes in the insurance sector our insurers now stipulate that all obstacle courses must be supervised by Adelaide Jump'N Castles staff only.

The charge for one of our fully qualified and trained supervisors to supervise your castle is $40 per hour.

Q?

Do you have insurance?

A.

Yes we have $10,000,000.00 public liability insurance and a copy of our policy is available for customers upon request.

Q?

What is the latest we will pick up the castles?

A.

The latest time that we will pick up the castles is 6pm (5pm in winter). If you would like to hire them later than this time, we also offer late pick ups/overnight hires (p.o.a).

Q?

Can we still hire a castle if the weather is bad?

A.

All our castles have sun and rain covers, however we do reserve the right to cancel any castle hire booking in times of high wind and rain. A full refund will be given upon cancellation.

A.

The maximum age limit of children allowed on any of our castles is 12 years old (except for the Surf N Slide Double Track Waterslide, Disco Dome, Mega Obstacle Course and the White Wedding Castle, which can be utilised by people 18 years and under). We recommend that children be grouped according to age and that only children of similar age and size are utilizing the castle at the same time.
